VentureSoul Partners Closes Maiden Fund First Lot of Rs 600 Cr at Rs 146.5 Cr

VentureSoul Partners, a SEBI-registered Category II AIF, announced that it has secured the first close of its maiden fund at Rs 146.5 crore against its ambitious target of Rs 600 crore. The Mumbai-based debt firm is targeting a corpus of up to Rs 300 crore, with an additional Rs 300 crore for greenshoe options as it sets its eyes on catalyzing the growth of startups in India’s vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem.

VentureSoul plans to invest in 20-25 startups with an average ticket size of Rs 25-30 crore. The maximum limit is set at Rs 60 crore per investment. Its investment philosophy has been to invest Series A onwards in startups whose business models are already primarily set up along with revenue streams in segments such as fintech, B2C, B2B, and SaaS.
