Zoho strengthens partnerships with public and private sectors, aiding over 7,000 UAE businesses in digital transformation.
Zoho announced an investment of AED 46 million (US$ 12.5 million) during GITEX Global, the global tech and AI event held in Dubai, as one giant step in its strategic partnerships with local public and private entities across the UAE. This five-day event brought along trade buyers of more than 200,000 from 180+ countries that ultimately provided the perfect stage for Zoho to express its intent towards the digital economy in the region and unveil new technological solutions.
Investment Powering Digital Transformation in UAE
This investment brought the process of digital transformation to over 7,000 businesses in the UAE through Zoho’s suite of applications. In terms of growth, this marks a twofold growth for the company in the country since 2022. With end-to-end digital tools and solutions, Zoho placed itself amongst the key players in the digital transformation currently happening in the region.
The initiative includes education and wallet credits. These credits decrease the financial constraints that organisations face while implementing applications from Zoho. Partnering both public and private sectors help Zoho avoid hassle in the adoption process of its products and help businesses streamline operations as well.
Expanding Reach with Strategic Partnerships
Zoho entered the UAE through partnerships established back in 2020 by collaborating with the Dubai Economy and Tourism Department (DET), Flat6Labs, Dubai Culture, and IFZA, among others. Collaboration provided critical digital tools and training for businesses working in various industries.
To strengthen its upskilling programs, Zoho has allied itself with educational institutions, including Middlesex University Dubai, the Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management, and Manipal Academy of Higher Education–Dubai. All these mean training the next generation of business leaders in the digital competencies that will define the future of work. Indeed, those alliances have allowed Zoho to grow into new sectors as diverse as IT hardware and services, real estate, retail, construction, and logistics.
The popular solutions introduced in the UAE are Zoho One, Zoho Books, Zoho Workplace, Zoho CRM Plus, and Zoho People with a 57% conversion rate from wallet-credit users to paying customers. Such firm adoption stands as an affirmation of the success of Zoho in delivering tangible value to businesses.
Launch of IoT Platform in the UAE
Also, at the recently concluded GITEX in the UAE, Zoho displayed its low-code IoT platform. It enables the organisation to connect third-party sensors to its system so that data can be gathered and analysed to provide actionable insights to users. This platform can serve so many purposes for users to utilise, such as industrial IoT, energy management, smart buildings, indoor air quality monitoring, and smart facilities.
The UAE companies can now tap into the power of IoT, harnessing the data emanating from sensors to feed insights for predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, and trend forecasting. This underlines a significant milestone in Zoho’s efforts to empower businesses with advanced technological capabilities toward efficiency and innovation.
But today, Zoho announced a significant investment in the UAE of AED 46 million, further indicating its commitment to supporting the region’s digital transformation and enhancing innovation across industries through strategic partnerships alongside cutting-edge technology solutions.
