Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, a division within Dubai Chambers, recently held a successful Digital Advocacy Workshop that focused on tackling the funding and investment challenges faced by digital startups. This workshop attracted notable leaders and influencers within the digital sector, including venture capitalists, entrepreneurs, and key government representatives who are also managers. The goal of the event was to foster discussions and collaboratively develop practical solutions aimed at helping startups secure the capital they need to grow and succeed in the market.

The workshop provided mainly an arming of participants with practical strategies by which one could seek and acquire funding and scale up their businesses. There was also a panel discussion tagged “Bridging the Funding and Investment Gap,” where relevant insights from key input from expert panellists from the Mohammed bin Rashid Innovation Fund, Oraseya Capital, and Monet Capital addressed essential investment criteria and the use of governmental funds and preparation steps for startups.
Another critical presentation at the conference to which Ziina would be adequately prepared to present pertains to her experience in successfully operating through a difficult funding landscape. She managed to emerge as one of the successful providers of digital payments solutions. Her story and experiences are golden, and she may also teach others who are perhaps just about to find similar support from entrepreneurs like her. The experiences and knowledge that she has gained along the way provide a rich source of advice to those who are trying to achieve success in a similarly complex funding environment.
The focused group discussions and interactive sessions led to interaction between industry leaders and entrepreneurs and allowed them to share experiences and ideas. This initiative falls in line with the ongoing efforts of the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy as it works towards providing help for some of the most challenging problems in the digital startup sector. The chamber will streamline the startups by building impactful dialogue platforms, encouraging collaboration, and sharing knowledge in order to achieve some valuable contributions to Dubai’s digital economy.
It is one of the main leagues in the construction of the digital economy leadership in Dubai and encompasses all required activities to increase the growth of the digital sector for the city to become a global hub for technology and innovation through the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33).
