A Vision for Community Living
The Expo Living master community will boast 358,473 square metres of residential space and a 65,274-square-metre Dubai Expo Mall. The mall will house retail, dining, and leisure facilities, supporting the reasons why the area is an attractive, well-rounded community. The project focuses on building relationships and allowing residents a balanced lifestyle that seamlessly integrates work, travel, and leisure.
Ahmed Al Matrooshi, Emaar Properties Executive Director for Emaar explained that this community is just a 5-minute walk from Expo City and the Dubai Exhibition Centre, already undergoing an AED 10 billion expansion to triple its space to 180,000 square metres by 2031, becoming the region’s largest indoor exhibition and events venue.
“Expo Living reflects our focus on creating places where people can connect, grow, and thrive. Its location, right next to Expo City and minutes from Al Maktoum International Airport, puts residents in the centre of it all,” Al Matrooshi said.
Connectivity and Convenience
This new destination targets young professionals, offering unmatched connectivity and convenience in Expo Living. It will house residents very close to key destinations, taking just 10 minutes to reach Al Maktoum International Airport and merely 20 minutes to Dubai Marina.
The community will have thoughtfully designed amenities like parks, landscaped courtyards, fitness facilities, and a variety of leisure options. Amenities include a yoga deck, mini-golf area, outdoor pools, a 1,000-square-metre clubhouse, and barbecue spaces, catering to an active and social lifestyle.
Emphasis on Green and Urban Spaces
Expo Living prioritises green spaces, with parks and gardens designed throughout the residential areas. The open spaces, thus devised, are expected to cater for social interaction and peace within the busy metropolitan hub. The development harmonises well with the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan’s objective to develop a sustainable and innovative living experience for people.
Mr Amer Al Farsi, Acting Vice President of Real Estate Development at DWTC, pointed out that the venture would be a benchmark for connected urban living. “This flagship development, coupled with Dubai Exhibition Centre and Expo Village, will align with the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan to create a premier residential community within this urban hub,” he stated.
A Shared Vision
This collaboration by Emaar Properties and DWTC reflects the commitment of the two companies to expand and enhance Expo City Dubai. With Expo Living designed with perfect connectivity, the living experience is sure to be a great draw for dwellers looking for perfect work-life balance in the midst of vibrant Dubai.
