India’s two most significant and eminent music labels, the Delhi-based T-Series and Bengaluru-based Lahari Music, have begun trapping the music rights in all languages of the big-ticket, multi-language film RRR, regulated by SS Rajamouli.
The two corporations didn’t reveal the sum they’ve paid for the music rights of the blockbuster film, the making of which has priced over Rs 300 crore, in series with media reviews. Industry sources quoted the two music corporations have advanced about Rs 25 crore to hoard the music rights.
T-Series and Lahari Music have mutually procured the music of this era drama in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada. An MM Keeravaani’s musical, the film features NTR Jr, Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, and others. The entertainment trade clasps optimism on this film to captivate crowds as its director is conceived to make the phenomenally profitable Baahubali.
T-Series managing director Bhushan Kumar declared: “It is one of the biggest films we are partnering on. As a viewer, I have always admired SS Rajamouli’s body of work and revered MM Keeravani’s music. I’m thrilled to be associated with RRR because it’s the biggest film that will be released this year. The music is outstanding, and I’m sure the audience will love it, too.”
Lahari founder Manohar Naidu quoted: “I have personally admired all of MM Keeravani’s music from the last three decades and have also admired SS Rajamouli’s great body of work. This is by far the biggest film of the year. As a music lover, the music is amazing. I am sure the audience will love it.”
