Tata Digital, a 100% subsidiary of Tata Sons, slows down the launch of SuperApp, seeking more transparency in Consumer Protection Rules. The company might end up establishing an independent company if the e-commerce rules are implemented. Officials related to the launch informed that the company will have to restructure the plans of SuperApp if the rules draft is forced into action.
Tata Digital had chalked down its plan of launching the app in the recent future as a step ahead to level up against its rival firms including Flipkart, PhonePe, Reliance, Amazon, Udaan, etc. However, the plan took a notable setback till there is no clear and final update regarding e-commerce rules. Despite this announcement, it is learned that a test launch has already taken place with an intimate user group in Bengaluru.

Tata Digital’s SuperApp is all-together an e-commerce app providing services and products of all kinds including lifestyle, fashion, entertainment, financial services, and many more.
