Anyone can pitch him an idea on Instagram and tag him under his new plan, DreamDeal.com. If the person’s idea appears to be creative and has some merit, the aspiring entrepreneur will receive funding of up to one lakh rupees.
On 3 August, reality shows Shark Tank India judge and founder & CEO of People Group Anupam Mittal announced his new initiative to fund budding entrepreneurs. Mittal is known as the most approachable person for seeking investments.
Anyone can pitch him an idea on Instagram and tag him under his new plan, DreamDeal.com. If the person’s idea appears to be creative and has some merit, the aspiring entrepreneur will receive funding of up to one lakh rupees.
“Anupam took to LinkedIn to share the details, writing, “Problem – Not enough time to help & listen to every founder.” DreamDeal. I am the solution. That’s right… anyone can now pitch to me. We present the first-of-its-kind social media funding platform… DreamDeal.me, and all you have to do is create a 30-second reel.”
Though some people complained that the link was broken, others were skeptical of the initiative to solicit new ideas from the public.
Anupam Mittal is the founder of Shaadi.com as well as an active angel investor.
Previously, in a LinkedIn post about his secret to being a successful entrepreneur, he stated that diversification is not the key to creating wealth. He believed that in order to become wealthy, one must risk everything.
“Money managers believe that spreading your risk is the best way to create wealth, but ask any successful entrepreneur about their journey and you will find that they have gone ‘all in,'” said the billionaire investor.
