Results for PVR’s second quarter: During the analysed quarter, the largest multiplex operator in India increased its operational revenue to 686.72 crore. In the equivalent quarter of the prior fiscal year, it was 120.32 crore.
The largest operator of multiplex chains, PVR Ltd, declared a combined net loss of 71.23 crore for the quarter that ended in September 2022 on Monday (Q2FY23). This represents a 53% decrease from the 153.13 crore reported during the same period last year (Q2FY22).
During the quarter under review, its operating revenue increased to 686.72 crore rupees. In the equivalent quarter of the prior fiscal year, it was 120.32 crore.
PVR’s overall revenue increased to $703.13 million from the previous quarter’s 275.21 million.
Compared to the same quarter last year, when its total expenses were 460.68 crore, they were 813.33 crore in Q2FY23.
