On Monday, EaseMyTrip announced plans to open physical stores in India through a franchise model. The online travel company stated that these stores, called EaseMyTrip Franchise, will provide customers with the opportunity to have an in-person retail experience.
With EaseMyTrip Franchise, the company aims to expand its customer base by reaching out to new offline customers. These physical stores will provide an opportunity for walk-in customers to experience EaseMyTrip’s services in person, thus expanding the company’s reach.
To open a Franchise Business, an individual must have a strong network of high-net-worth individuals, a group of customers, connections to societies and associations, and the ability to generate a significant amount of walk-in business.
The company has mentioned that to be eligible for opening an EaseMyTrip franchise, the person needs to have knowledge about the travel industry, sales, customer service, a good network of customers, and local contacts.
Rikant Pittie, the co-founder of EaseMyTrip, stated that the EaseMyTrip Franchise model was created with the goal of catering to customers who prefer in-person assistance and are not comfortable with the internet. He emphasized that the focus of the EaseMyTrip Franchise is to provide a unique, face-to-face customer service experience in the travel industry.
The EaseMyTrip Franchise will offer a range of products and services including flight booking, group fares, hotel reservations, holiday packages, booking of train tickets through IRCTC, car rentals, bus tickets, cruise bookings, charter services, and visa assistance.
Rikant Pittie added that the establishment of EaseMyTrip Franchise stores will help in building trust and brand awareness through offline support and the demonstration of products and services to customers. The physical stores will also help customers with booking and confirmation without any issues, he said.
The company will provide support for the franchisees in onboarding, liaisoning, management and marketing.
