Akshay Kumar, a Bollywood actor, and Virender Sehwag, a former cricketer, have invested in Two Brothers Organic Farms (TBOF), a start-up company focused on organic farming. In the pre-series A funding round, they made the investment. Early-stage startup funding includes pre-series A funding, which often comes after seed capital and before Series A funding.
The business received Rs 14.5 crore in this round, with help from Tejesh Chitlangi, Durga Devi Wagh, Crest Ventures, Javed Tapia, and Raju Chekuri, among others.

He stated that he decided to invest in TBOF because of the organization’s commitment to boosting the rural economy and producing nutritious organic food.
A second investor in the business was the cricketer Virender Sehwag. He claimed that TBOF’s dedication to improving the farming community and society’s health had inspired him. The former opener remarked, “It is encouraging to see the positive impact they have brought in the lives of farmers and people’s health across India and beyond.”
According to the company’s press release, it was started by two brothers from Bhodani, Pune, Satyajit and Ajinkya Hange. The company produces natural and organic farming products. According to TBOF, the money would be utilised to build farmer training centres, increase local and foreign trade, and increase manufacturing capacity.
Additionally, the A series funding would be utilised to support farmers and increase the number of jobs available to women in rural areas.
