WhatsApp for Android adds additional features such as muting unknown callers and a bottom navigation bar

The WhatsApp social media platform is preparing to release a slew of new features for Android users via new upgrades.

Furthermore, the instant messaging behemoth is testing an Android feature that looks similar to WhatsApp for iOS

According to reports, the instant messaging network has made headway on its feature to quiet calls from unknown numbers, which was first revealed in March.

Version 2.23.10.6 of the WhatsApp beta for Android contains a redesigned user experience with a bottom navigation bar similar to WhatsApp for iOS (formerly iPhone OS).

Furthermore, WhatsApp has included new tools that allow users to forward media with captions and add captions to documents while sharing.
