The company has earmarked a noteworthy investment of ₹70 crore for the initial phase of this venture. Musashi India, a fully owned subsidiary of Musashi Seimitsu Industries, has been primarily engaged in the production of transmission components for conventional internal combustion engine-powered two and four-wheelers.

As part of its strategic collaboration with Bharat New-Energy Company (BNC) Motors in India, Musashi is expanding its footprint in the e-mobility domain. The company has already inked an initial agreement with Strom in Thailand, EV Go in Vietnam, and Arc Ride in Kenya ensuring the supply of e-Axles manufactured in India.
