Force Motors has finally introduced us to its much-anticipated five-door Gurkha. In the teaser image posted online, we can see the boxy SUV silhouette is intact but two new doors have been added to accommodate more passengers. This extended wheelbase version will give the new Mahindra Thar 5-door some serious competition in the lifestyle off-roader segment.
While details are still being worked out, the teaser image reveals some interesting design elements. They scream off-road capability with squared-off fenders and chunky tires. You can also see a snorkel to allow the engine to breathe while crossing the water. At the top, a sturdy storage area can hold your camping gear. And look at the spare wheel proudly mounted on the rear tailgate – now that’s hardcore!The green paint job gives it a military vibe too. You can totally imagine this Gurkha conquering difficult terrains that would leave other vehicles stranded. Force has built a name for themselves by creating tough, no-nonsense 4x4s and the 5-door promises to live up to that reputation. Can’t wait to take it bashing through mud trails!
Inside sources say Force will offer the 5-door in multiple seating layouts – 5, 6 or 7 seats depending on customer needs. Families who love the outdoors will appreciate the flexibility.
