Tata Motors, a well-known domestic automaker, debuted the electric version of its well-liked Ace compact vehicle in Nepal on Friday. “Ace EV makes its debut on the international market with the launch in Nepal, and it aims to redefine environmentally friendly transportation. The innovative Ace EV’s first fleet was delivered to its clients in Kathmandu, according to a statement from the firm.
The new Ace EV has been introduced in Nepal by Tata Motors, one of the top producers of commercial vehicles in the world, in conjunction with Sipradi Trading, the model’s lone authorised distributor.
After 17 years as an IC-avatar, the Ace EV made its market debut in May 2022. The company claims that Ace EV’s introduction to the worldwide market in Nepal marks its debut and that it will revolutionise environmentally friendly transportation.

The Ace EV, which has a certified range of 154 kilometres, is the first product to use Tata Motors’ EVOGEN powertrain. With an innovative battery cooling system and regenerative braking to extend the driving range, it provides safe, all-weather operation. The vehicle supports both slow and quick charging for good uptime. In order to ensure the maximum cargo volume and grade-ability of 22%, which enables simple ascent in fully laden conditions, it is driven by a 27kW (36hp) engine with 130 Nm of peak torque. The container of the Ace EV has been carefully modified to perfectly meet Nepal’s needs.
