Aditya Birla Group intends to build a House of Brands business over the next few years.
Aditya Birla Group is one of India’s largest empires and declares to be the most international of India’s major corporations. The company operates as a holding company for more than 72 manufacturing and assistance associates across India as well as Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Australia, China, Egypt, and Canada. With these brands, TMRW has reached 700 crore rupees in sales and is set to exceed 1500 crore rupees in annual sales over the next 12 months. The brands include Western womenswear, Berrylush, Bewakoof casual and expressive clothing, Juneberry casual clothing brand, Natilene youth clothing, Nauti Nati childrenswear, Nobero sportswear brand, Urbano casual and denim clothing, and Veirdo.

With our investment and deep value-addition, we are confident in scaling existing leading brands to become category leaders as well as be the category creators in several emerging categories,” Prashanth Aluru, CEO and Co-founder, of TMRW, said. “We will also leverage our deep partnerships within the e-commerce and D2C ecosystem to be a force multiplier in the brand’s growth journey.”
The statement said some of these deals are subject to customary closing conditions and the signing of final documents. India, the world’s second most populous country, is an attractive market for apparel brands, especially as young people increasingly prefer Western-style clothing.
