Founded in January 2023, by Ankur Goyal and Pritam Roy, Fibr’s flagship product: Pilot is on a journey to change how companies personalize their interactions with customers. Customers enters a website and feel that every single piece of content has been designed especially for them, this is what Fibr is going to pull off with their flagship product, Pilot.
Pilot is way more than just some vanilla personalization tool. According to Goyal: Most of the tools out there are pretty archaic. They are great at doing one thing: Web personalization or email campaigns, but they miss the big picture. All they do is put generic pop-ups, write names in emails, run basic A/B tests which is not real personalization.
On the other hand, Fibr’s Pilot gives personally Tailored Landing Pages for every ad, email, SMS, notification, or any kind of communication. It’s like having a personal concierge for your online experience.
Now, to the funding. The $1.8 million raise will go toward building out its AI personalization platform, growing the customer base, and hiring new talent. Specifically, engineers, product marketers, and sales and Go-to-Market experts are among the positions to be filled.
Fibr isn’t focusing on just one market. They are looking at lead generation clients in sectors like insurance, broadband, home improvement, and consumer services. They aren’t even confining their operations to one region. Although the US presently remains their key target, they do have an eye on Canada, India, and even Europe. Goyal said that they see 60-70 percent of the business at the end of the year flowing in from the US; 10-20 percent in India; and the remainder kick-starting in Europe. Now, that’s ambition!
One product, and Fibr thinks it’s done? Think again. Already in production is the beta version of their second product: Blocks. This new tool is made to help marketers scale their content across formats with ease. Picture this: You’ve got a highly successful Facebook ad and you’re being able to convert it into a blog post, Google ad, or social media post. That is just what Blocks does best: magic.
Prayank Swaroop, partner at Accel, is fairly optimistic about the prospects of Fibr. For consumer companies fighting the twin battles of privacy policies and cookie deprecation, Fibr’s personalized landing pages could be just the shot in the arm, he said. Also, here is an interesting fact: Fibr has what could be an innovative way of pricing. Far removed from the SaaS pricing model, the company charges an extremely affordable sachet pricing wherein only the usage is paid for by users. Thus, it becomes accessible to all marketers, big or small.
2am VC and angel investors like Kunal Shah of Cred also participated in the round. With such strong backing, one thing is pretty clear: Fibr is on the right track.
In a nutshell, it is time that Fibr will come to rock the AI personalization space with its innovative products and ambitious expansion plans, with the deep pockets backing them, definitely one such startup to watch out for. So, keep an eye on Fibr, they’re just getting started!
