The airline said it worked with London-based design firm JPA Design and Trendworks to help develop interior design elements for the refurbishment program.
On Monday, Air India said it was leasing six Boeing B777 wide-body aircraft to expand its existing fleet, on top of the lease of 30 aircraft announced earlier this year. The aircraft is expected to be deployed in the first half of 2023, he added.
The airline said Air India’s B777-300 ER will initially have a four-class configuration: Business, Premium Economy and Economy Class and will be used to connect more international destinations with India’s metros.
