Alakh Pandey’s childhood was also troubled as his family had financial issues. Alakh Pandey was born in 1991 in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. He did his schooling at Bishop Johnson School and then got admitted to Harcourt Butler Technical Institute to study Mechanical Engineering. But he soon dropped out of college and did not complete his graduation. Even amidst this disappointment, Alakh lost not a bit of heart for teaching. He began working in coaching centres at Allahabad and earned meagre amounts of money, which marked the beginning of a superb learning journey.

Years ago, Alakh Pandey had never imagined the kind of career path he took in life. Because he enjoyed acting, he decided to make acting his career.

But, fate had other plans.

Although he began teaching to aid his family’s financial crisis, he soon began enjoying teaching which subsequently became his passion.

From a mere over 3800 subscribers in the year 2017, his channel went on to receive a staggering over 68 lakh subscribers in 2022. One of the key factors behind the success of his YouTube channel was that he offered extremely useful content for free, whereas other channels were demanding money from the viewers for such content.

Today, over 36 million students are served by the 80 channels owned by the company in 8 local languages.

All these various channels provide free-of-cost education for numerous other competitive exams such as IIT JEE, UPSC, CA, State PSC, etc.

In 2020, he also launched the Physics Wallah app. The app had 2.1 million enrollments by 2021. Today, the app is being used by 15 million individuals for their preparation of different competitive exams.

Alakh Pandey started as an academic coach at coaching institutes and went on to establish his channel which turned into an enormous success story. YouTube channel inspired its Edtech Business Wallah Private Limited, which was later formed. The corporation’s headquarters is established in Noida, Delhi.

When the institute was established, ten thousand students joined the institute in the first month. One of the main reasons for the success of Physics Valah is that it is a low fee and it is the quality of education.

Born in Satish Pandey and Rajat Pandey, Alakh Pandey, the founder of Physics Walaah, has an elder sister, Aditi Pandey, who was always standing by her through her good and bad times. He is often seen claiming his loyalty. 

Now 31-year-old Alakh has given a very talented Shivani Dubey to a journalist Shivani Dubey. His wife and sister create great strengths for their family as they go on a journey of inspiration.

Life Partner of Alakh Pandey

Alakh Pandey, the co-founder and CEO of Physics Wallah, is married to his lovely wife, Shivani Dubey. Their love story is a true-life fairy tale! From the onset, they met through a common friend at Alakh’s friend’s office, with Shivani oblivious to his high-profile stature at Physics Wallah. Their love story is a beautiful testament to love finding its way in the most unexpected avenues.

The next day, Shivani attempted to contact Alakh, wanting to know more about him. It was then that Alakh revealed his real identity of being the co-founder and CEO of Physics Wallah. Afterwards, while Alakh was busy preparing T-shirts for his students, Shivani offered her assistance. That was when Alakh knew he had met his soulmate. Versatile freelance journalist Shivani holds an MSc in Chemistry and many adventures later entered Alakh’s life, and their bond blossomed with each passing experience.

Following a unique business model helped Physics Wallah stand out in the market, where numerous ed-tech firms have already established their businesses. With the help of profitable techniques like expanding its reach to the individuals by offering affordable courses to students. Pandey’s company has been profitable since its inception.
