Anuradha Ramachandran has been named managing partner of TVS Capital, a local private equity firm. TVS Capital has raised Rs 3,000 crore in three funds and invested in 30 Indian companies.
TVS Capital invests in technology-driven financial services and enterprise (B2B) services. Unicorns such as Digit Insurance, Five Star Business Finance, and Yubi are currently in its Fund-3 portfolio (CredAvenue).
In a statement, the fund noted Ramachandran has over 22 years of experience in venture capital (Ventureast, Omidyar Network, and Flourish Ventures), investment banking (Lazard), and financial journalism.
