Ashok Leyland has began delivering electric vehicles, with the keys to the 14T Boss Electric Truck being handed over to Billion E-Mobility at an event in New Delhi. Shenu Agarwal, the company’s managing director and CEO, noted that this delivery represents a big step toward sustainable transportation. Ashok Leyland also displayed future-ready vehicles at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo, such as a hydrogen fuel cell bus, an LNG tractor, an EV tractor, and an Electric LCV. Billion E-Mobility expressed appreciation for the timely delivery of the technologically superior electric truck.
At the Bharat Mobility Global Expo in New Delhi, Ashok Leyland showed future-ready vehicles such as the 9m Hydrogen Fuel Cell Bus, AVTR LNG 6×4 Tractor, 55T EV Tractor, and Switch IeV4 Electric light commercial vehicles.
Ashok Leyland, the Hinduja Group’s main company, has begun delivering intermediate and heavy duty electric trucks to customers, the company announced. The keys to the 14T Boss Electric Truck were handed over to Billion E-Mobility at the inaugural edition of the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024 in New Delhi, the firm stated.
According to the Economic Times, “Ashok Leyland is pleased to deliver the first totally electric vehicle to our customer today. The Boss 4T Electric Truck was shown at the Auto Expo last year. “Today’s delivery of this road-ready product marks a significant milestone in our journey toward sustainable and efficient transportation,” said business Managing Director and CEO Shenu Agarwal in a statement on Saturday.
According to the Economic Times, “As we stand on the cusp of a new era, these vehicles represent our firm commitment to lead the transition to green mobility, offering advanced technologies focused at the meeting the evolving needs of the Indian and global markets,” Agarwal said in a press release.
Ashok Leyland displayed its future-ready vehicles at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo, which is presently taking place in New Delhi. These included the 9m hydrogen fuel cell bus, AVTR LNG 6×4 tractor, 55T EV tractor, and Switch IeV4 electric light commercial vehicles.
