Blue Dart, a leading express air, integrated transportation, and distribution logistics company in South Asia, has announced the selection of V N Iyer as the Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Blue Dart Express Ltd. (BDEL), Blue Dart Aviation Ltd. (BDAL), and Concorde Air Logistics Ltd. (CALL). Furthermore, effective September 1, 2023, Sudha Pai has been designated as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Blue Dart Express Ltd.
V N Iyer brings a wealth of experience to his role as Group CFO, with a strong background in accounts, finance, taxation, treasury operations, financial analysis, and internal controls framework. He has over three decades of expertise in these areas and holds a BSc in Statistics. Notably, he previously served as the CFO of Blue Dart Aviation Ltd. for a period of five years, where he gained valuable insights into Aviation Finance.
Sudha Pai, a qualified cost accountant, will assume the role of CFO for Blue Dart Express Ltd. Currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at DHL Global Forwarding, India, a subsidiary of the DHL group, Sudha Pai has demonstrated her financial acumen throughout her career. She has previously served as the Finance Director of Ezyhaul India Pvt Ltd and as the CFO & Compliance Officer of DHL Logistics Pvt Ltd (Freight Forwarding division). In her current role at DHL Global Forwarding, Sudha Pai is a vital member of the senior management team, directly reporting to the Regional CFO and having a dotted line reporting to the Country CEO. With her expertise, she effectively oversaw four major divisions, leading a workforce of over 800 employees, and skillfully managed the finance function for a turnover of INR 8,000 crore.
