A crucial announcement about topic marks breakdown and practicals has been made by CBSE. The official notice is provided below for candidates to review.
On December 9, 2022, the Central Board of Secondary Education will hold the CBSE Board Exams for the year 2023. The official announcement includes instructions as well as details on subject division and practical tests. Candidates may view the official notification at cbse.gov.in, the CBSE’s official website.
According to the notice, the Board decided to help and support the schools in a smooth exam administration after realizing that certain schools were uploading marks incorrectly for the practical, project, and internal assessments. In this context, the CBSE Board Exams has made available a list of subjects for classes 10, 12, and 14 that includes information about the subject weighting and practical exam.
The notice includes the subject code, subject name, maximum marks for theory exams, practical exams, project assessments, internal assessments, the appointment of an external examiner for practical/project assessments, whether the Board will provide a practical answer book, and the type of answer books that will be used for theory exams.
The annual theory exams for classes 10, 12, and graduation will start on February 15, 2023, while the practical exams will start on January 1, 2023.
