In order to make sure that the mistake of maintain oxygen doesn’t arise again. The central govt through a letter has conveyed the states/Ut’s asking them to prepare for any challenging situation in the future. 

The Health Ministry on Saturday wrote to all the states/Ut’s conveying “Though the covid cases in the country are low and not surging as of now , but to face any challenges coming in the future, the operationalization and maintenance of this medical infrastructure are of utmost importance”

The health departments of the states have been asked to ensure the availability of liquid medical oxygen (LMO) in medicals and an uninterrupted supply chain regarding this. 

They have also been asked to maintain an adequate inventory of oxygen cylinders along with backup and refilling systems. Additionally, the states/Ut have been told to Ensure the accessibility of critical life support equipment like ventilator, Bipap, and sPo2 

On Saturday morning the union health minister announced that passengers coming from China and other four countries need to go through an Rt-Pcr test before leaving the airport. This rule has been made mandatory. 

The health minister mandaviya while briefing about this matter with ANI said ” The RT-PCR test will be mandatory for international arrivals from China, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, and Thailand. On arrival, if any passenger of these countries is found to have any symptoms or tests positive for covid-19 then he/she will be put under quarantine”

He further added that international passengers arriving from these countries need to declare their current health status in the Air suvidha form. 

With a concerned remark, the union health minister Mansukh mandaviya on friday have said that the center and the states have to work hand to hand through mutual collaboration and cooperation in order to avoid any mishap 

The health ministry on the dawn of Saturday informed that in the last 24 hours, India have recorded 201 new covid cases. There are 3397 active cases of covid in India which accounts for 0.01% of total cases. The recovery rate stands at 98%. Approx 183 recoveries were made yesterday taking the total recovery to 44142791. The positive rate stood at 0.15% and the weekly positive rate stood at 0.14% 

Union health minister Mansukh Mandaviya on Thursday told the parliament that the government has started random RT-PCR tests among the passengers coming to international airports in the country.
