71,92,154 vaccine doses were administered in the last 24 hours, making the total vaccinations done: 117.63 crores, through 1,21,69,135 sessions.
12,202 patients have recovered in the 24 hours and India’s daily positive rate has been 0.79%. For the past 50 days it hasn’t crossed 2%. 4,859 names have been removed from the Covid-19 active case load.
The daily increment in the cases has been below 20,000 for 46 days in a row and has been less than 50,000 for 149 days in a row.
The recent death toll of the country due to Covid-19 was 4,66,147 with around 200 freshly added. Although the recovery rate is as high as 98.32%.
Outside India, the global caseload now is, 258.1 million people and the death toll at 5.15 million. The vaccination count has been as high as 7.42 billion, according to Johns Hopkins University.
