Delhivery, a company headquartered in Gurugram has introduced Delhivery One, a shipping platform designed to cater to micro-enterprises, SMEs, and large D2C e-commerce brands throughout India. This platform brings together shipping services facilitates shipments and provides payment methods, to empower businesses in the ever-changing world of e-commerce.
Delhivery, a logistics provider headquartered in Gurugram, has introduced a groundbreaking digital shipping platform named Delhivery One. This innovative platform caters not only to large Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) e-commerce brands but also to micro and small enterprises situated throughout the country.
Mohammed Ali, the Head of SME and Direct Business at Delhivery, emphasized the significance of Delhivery One’s launch. He stated that this step marks a pivotal move towards empowering Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) within the constantly evolving e-commerce landscape. The platform aims to enhance Delhivery’s status as the preferred shipping partner for micro and small enterprises through a range of value-added services.
Delhivery One is designed to facilitate seamless shipping for small businesses to over 220 countries, leveraging the company’s partnership with FedEx. The platform seamlessly integrates and unifies various essential shipping services, including post-purchase communication, analytics, international shipping, effortless integration with sales channels, and proficient management of Non-Delivery Reports (NDRs).
One of its standout features is that it allows smaller businesses to ship their products without being constrained by minimum order values. Additionally, businesses can initiate shipping with a minimal wallet recharge of Rs 500. For heavier parcels exceeding 5 kg, discounted shipping rates are available. By focusing on SMEs and collaborating with Vinculum to cater to larger enterprises, Delhivery’s goal is to comprehensively meet the software requirements of customers across all segments.
In a recent update, Delhivery reported a notable reduction in losses and a simultaneous increase in revenue. This success is attributed to the growth in truckload and supply chain services.
Notably, in the first quarter of FY24, Delhivery’s revenue from services surged to Rs 1,930 crore, marking a 10.5% rise from the previous year’s Rs 1,746 crore during the same period. This sequential growth represents an increase of nearly 4% from the previous quarter’s revenue of Rs 1,860 crore.
