The season of layoffs continues as another tech company has fired 200 employees from their team in order to cut costs. Medibuddy which is an end-to-end digital health platform have fired around 8% of their employees which is about 200 people across all departments as reorganization takes places

The startup have stated that layoffs are never easy and is always a painful process However this was necessary to realign their current business goals for longer term
Headcount reductions primarily impacted engineering, product, sales, and operations teams.The startup said it would support affected employees during this transition and implemented various resources to support them.
The company’s spokesperson have conveyed that “This includes out-placement assistance that will actively assist impacted employees in identifying potential job opportunities, a care package designed for them that includes MediBuddy wallet continuity for their health and wellness, and extension of health insurance,
