Contract Details and Bus Specifications
At the behest of HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, the RTA has signed an agreement for the purchase of 636 buses. It will feature 40 state-of-the-art electric buses, which will go a long way in ensuring a low-carbon footprint. Other procurements will include 400 buses from MAN, 50 from Zhongtong, 76 Volvo double-decker buses, and 70 Isuzu Anadolu articulated buses. All the buses are made according to strict European standards that assure very low carbon emissions, therefore guaranteeing sustainability to the environment.
