Musk wrote in a series of tweets, “Tesla + Twitter = Twizzler.”
Musk recently filed a countersuit against Twitter as part of his ongoing legal battle with the microblogging platform over his failed $44 billion takeover bid.
The lawsuit, however, is not yet available to the public, though a partially redacted version may be made available soon under court rules.
It was unclear why Musk asked the court to keep the details of his countersuit private when the Tesla and SpaceX CEO had recently been vocally critical of Twitter on social media and in press interviews.
A follower recently tweeted to Musk that, according to SEC Rule 10b-5, Twitter “can be held liable for material fact omissions or misrepresentations. Waiving due diligence does not obligate you to accept a false disclosure (understated bots) “.
Musk replied: “Exactly.”
