World’s Rarest and Most Expensive Supercars to be Auctioned in Dubai

Some of the rarest and most expensive supercars in the world will be available to buy at an auction happening next month in Dubai. The auction is being organised by a company called RM Sotheby’s which does big car auctions around the world. 

Many millionaires have moved to Dubai in the last two years. This means there are more rich people in Dubai who want to buy luxury cars. RM Sotheby’s thinks these people will want to buy the special supercars at the auction. 

One of the cars is called an Aston Martin Valkyrie. Only 150 of these cars have been made and they cost over $2 million (Dh7.3 million) each new. This one at the auction is in a colour called Scintilla Silver and has not been driven much. It is estimated that someone will pay between $2.9 million to $3.3 million for it.

Another interesting car is one that looks like a Bugatti from 1935 but was actually built recently. It is called a Bugatti Type 57 Atlantic Recreation. Only a few of these “recreations” have been made to look like the real old Bugattis. This one is estimated to sell for between Dh2.57 million to Dh3.3 million.

For people who like McLarens, a 2014 McLaren P1 will also be at the auction. This supercar can do over 200 miles per hour. Only 375 P1s were made. This one is a nice silver and red colour. It is estimated to sell for between Dh2.93 million to Dh3.67 million. 

A 2022 Ferrari 812 Competizione will also be for sale. This car has a powerful engine and is painted red like many Ferraris. It is estimated to cost between Dh4 million to Dh4.77 million.

One of only 20 Lamborghini Centenario cars made will also be at the auction. These were special cars made for Lamborghini’s 100th anniversary. This one is black and has a very powerful engine. It may sell for between Dh7.34 million to Dh9.175 million.

The most expensive car at the auction is expected to be a rare Koenigsegg. Only 3 of these Agera RSR cars were made, just for customers in Japan. But one will be at the Dubai auction. It has over 1,000 horsepower and is painted blue. This unique supercar may sell for a huge price between Dh10.2 million to Dh12.5 million.
