The next G20 Leaders Summit, set for September 9–10 in New Delhi, received significant news on Wednesday from Delhi Minister Atishi. 

She said that all workplaces and educational institutions in the city will be closed from September 8 to September 10 in anticipation of this renowned event. Atishi, a well-known Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) member, stated during the news conference that Delhi was prepared to host the foreign delegates for the G20 Summit

Prior to the G20 meeting, the Delhi government planted a remarkable 1.5 lakh saplings in an effort to improve the appearance of the city and its vegetation. Additionally, they put more than 80–90 sculptures at various sites, as well as 30 fountains.

Atishi emphasized the initiatives taken by the Municipal Corporation of Delhi, which is under the control of the AAP, to revive important marketplaces in Greater Kailash 2 and Mehrauli. 

She reassured the populace that despite any potential small annoyances brought on by temporary constraints, the G20 Summit represented a huge opportunity for the nation. Atishi concluded by asserting with confidence that Delhi was ready to host the G20 delegates.
