Early career
Panjab University awarded her a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Applications in 2010. In 2013, she attended the New York Academy of Art for an Intensive Summer Course in Modern Art in Design and Applied Arts and an Intensive Course in Figurative Art.
Ghazal Alagh began working at NIIT Limited in Chandigarh in 2008, shortly after graduating from Panjab University. She worked at NIIT as a software application trainer, teaching SQL, J2ME, and Oracle. In 2012, Ghazal Alagh launched the diet plan website Dietexpert.com, which provides customers with a customized diet plan based on their weight, age, lifestyle, and blood group. This website has around 2,000 subscribers. Honasa Consumer Pvt Ltd (Mamaearth) was formed in 2015 by Ghazal Alagh in Gurgaon, India. She began her career as the company’s Chief Innovation Officer.
