Gross Revenue from GST receipts during December 2022 is Rs. 1,49.507 crore and Rs 78,434 crore of it is IGST (includes Rs. 40,263 crore from import of goods); Rs. Rs 26,711 crore is CGST; SGST is Rs 33,357 crore; and cess is Rs. 11,005 crore.
GST collection rose by 15% year-on-year in December to touch Rs. 1.49 lakh crore; according to an official statement by the government released on Sunday; suggesting strong business during the festive season. Goods and services tax collection during the November was Rs. 1.46 lakh crore.

According to the statement of the Ministry of Finance; during the last December 2022; revenues from the import of goods was 8% higher and the revenues from the transaction within the country (including imported services) are upto 18% higher than the revenues from these same sources in comparison to December 2021.
The report said, “During the month of November 2022, 7.9 crore e-way bills were generated, which was significantly higher than 7.6 crore e-way bills generated in October 2022.”
