hamdan's mosque initiative draws from dubai property majors

Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, pledged to uphold Dubai’s cultural traditions by announcing an extensive effort which advances mosque facilities in a speech. A total of Dhs 560 million capital from Dubai’s leading property developers funded projects that build, maintain and operate mosques within all real estate developments throughout the city. A strategic agreement linked the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department to Dubai Land Department to promote public and private partnership initiatives in this project.

Sheikh Hamdan emphasized at the event how this initiative matches the humanitarian leadership goals of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum who serves as the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE. The agreement serves to convert mosques into spots that spread cultural and humanistic influence through family-strengthening approaches that preserve community traditions and national heritage.

Different real estate developers backed the Mosque Sponsorship Initiative causing their contributions to reach a combined total of Dhs 560 million. The allocated funds from this program will support different mosque building and improvement initiatives across Dubai. The contributions made by Emaar Properties through Dhs 280 million funding will support 42 mosques which can serve approximately 30,000 worshippers. Different developers including Azizi Developments, Damac Properties, ORO 24 Developments, HRE Developments, and Danube Properties have together donated substantial amounts that support many mosques throughout Dubai.

Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department Director General Ahmed Darwish Al Muhairi declared that the initiative supports department goals to improve sustainability and foster mosque development partnerships between the public and private sectors. According to Ahmed Darwish Al Muhairi, the department requires private sector collaboration for religious service continuity and social responsibility advancement.

Dubai Land Department Director General Marwan Ahmed Bin Ghalita stressed the significance of public-private partnerships as they support sustainable community development visions in Dubai. Real estate developers through this initiative demonstrated their dedication to community development and sustainability furthered through real estate projects, according to him.

Various developers contribute to building new mosques while hosting maintenance services as they build corporate social responsibility alongside community-based charitable services. This initiative functions as a component of Dubai 2033 to enhance the quality of life through infrastructure development of mosques with exemplary standards across the emirate.

The Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department and Dubai Land Department consider the partnership as vital for building alliances between developers and community members. Through alliance they work to establish sustainable and socially responsible values, which generates dynamic religious and cultural facilities serving the whole community.
