Leadership development is the process by which organizations transform the talent they now have into the leaders they will need in the future. Companies don’t remain the same, and the rate of business change is increasing. Organizations need leaders who can lead people, manage change, identify new opportunities, and execute strategy regardless of how the business environment evolves.
Leadership development programs have historically been used by businesses to engage in internal growth and prepare high-potential personnel for senior roles in the firm shortly. However, what we consider to be effective leadership traits and the accompanying talents have developed. And, as businesses see the value of agility, leadership development for a broader variety of managers has become increasingly vital.
