On March 22, Infosys announced the purchase of quirk, a German digital marketing, experience, and commerce firm. Oddity will be integrated into WONGDOODY, a digital creative and consumer insights firm located in the United States that Infosys bought in 2018.
It will be part of WONGDOODY’s network of studios in Seattle, Los Angeles, New York, Providence, Houston, and London, as well as design centres in five Indian cities. Subject to customary closing conditions, the transaction is scheduled to conclude in the first quarter of fiscal 2023 (April 2022). Both companies have not stated the amount invested.
The move is expected to boost Infosys’ creative, branding, and experience design skills. Oddity is one of Germany’s largest digital agencies, with over 300 digital professionals on staff. Located in Stuttgart, Berlin, Cologne, Belgrade, Shanghai and Taipei.
