At the RIL AGM, Jio Smart Home Services were introduced

Reliance To revolutionize the control of household appliances, Jio has announced Jio Smart Household Services. 

They’re also introducing Jio AirFiber for broadband access, competing with IT behemoths like Google and Apple. Jio Smart Home gadgets, a Set-Top Box for entertainment, and a Smart Home app are all part of the service. JioAirFiber circumvents the limitations of last-mile fiber by using 5G technology to deliver high-speed internet. With this project, Indian homes will be redefined.

Jio Chairman Akash Ambani stressed during the Reliance Industries Ltd. (RIL) AGM that Jio Smart Home Services are going to revolutionize how we manage our homes and live.

Reliance Jio has positioned itself in direct rivalry with digital behemoths like Google Apple and others with the launch of Jio Smart Home Services. In addition, RIL Chairman Mukesh Ambani said during his presentation that Jio would introduce Jio AirFiber for internet access on September 19.

Jio Smart Home gadgets have reportedly been introduced, according to a report by Business Today. They are made to work smoothly with both JioFiber and Jio AirFiber services. A new Jio Set-Top Box has also been unveiled, which is promoted as a portal to a vast world of entertainment. The article continues by saying that this includes having access to TV channels, streaming material, immersive big-screen games, and numerous digital applications.

A special Jio Smart Home app with an eRemote for the Jio Set-Top Box and the ability to use your smartphone as a controller is included in the bundle. Notably, the Jio Set-Top Box is compatible with popular international streaming services as well as JioCinema and JioTV+.

Akash Ambani, Chairman, of Reliance Jio, says, “Over 80% of data consumption in India happens indoors. I’m thrilled to introduce Jio Smart Home services, which is poised to redefine how we experience and manage our homes.”

He further stated, “Entertainment is changing rapidly worldwide, shifting from linear to interactive. Jio is accelerating this trend in India. Our Set-Top Box supports JioCinema and JioTV+, with leading global streaming apps.”
