The development of a 69.3 MW wind power plant for Juniper Green Energy Private Limited was announced by Suzlon Group as the second order in the 3 MW product series. However, the business withheld the order’s financial specifics.
Suzlon, a provider of energy solutions, revealed on Tuesday that Juniper Green Energy Private Limited, the company behind the 69.3 MW wind power project, has placed a second order with them for 3 MW series turbines.
The project entails the development of a 69.3 MW wind power project for Juniper Green Energy, an independent producer of renewable energy, for which the business will set up 22 wind turbine generators (WTGs) with a hybrid lattice tubular (HLT) tower of their new product, with a rated capacity of 3.15 MW each, in Gujarat’s Surendra Nagar district. In 2024, the project is anticipated to be put into operation.
We are excited to share that Juniper Green Energy Private Limited has accepted our first order and that this is also our second order for the 3 MW series. With a sizable solar footprint, Juniper Green Energy is a dedicated player in India’s renewable energy market. The Suzlon Group CEO, JP Chalasani, stated, “This is their first wind energy project, and we are honored that they have placed their faith in us for the same.
Chalasani added that the power produced by this project would be used by the people of Gujarat in his further remarks on the progress. The company’s largest turbine, S144140m, rated at 3.15 MW, this is the first 3 MW series project.
Reduced energy costs and support for the Aatmanirbhar Bharat are the main goals of the 3 MW series of wind turbines. The Suzlon 3 MW Series is equipped with characteristics that enable the use of low-wind locations and provide increased energy yield appropriate for all Indian wind regimes. The method dramatically boosts yield per unit of land and performs superbly in low-wind locations.
First Energy, a subsidiary of Thermax Group, had a 39-MW wind power project launched by Suzlon last week on April 27. The purchase is a component of a 100 MW wind-solar hybrid project by First Energy 5 Pvt. Ltd.
Prior to this, Sembcorp’s renewables subsidiary, Green Infra Wind Energy Limited, received a fresh order for the building of a 50.4 MW wind power project from Suzlon Group, India’s top provider of renewable energy solutions. Suzlon erected 24 wind turbine generators (WTGs) with 2.1 MW rated capacities and hybrid lattice tubular (HLT) towers. The project will be completed in Karnataka and put into service in 2024.
Suzlon carried out the project, including installation and commissioning, and provided the wind turbines (equipment supply). Additionally, Suzlon offered complete post-commissioning operations and maintenance services. The 50.4 MW capacity was given to Sembcorp through a tariff-based bidding process.
