Today, Goa-based electric vehicle startup Kabira Mobility will introduce the KM3000 and KM4000 Mark-II models, which are the company’s second generation of motorbikes.
According to the firm, the models are the first electric bikes featuring a Foxconn-developed aluminium core hub motor drivetrain. According to the firm, the 12kW in-hub powertrain has India’s first aluminium core engine, which can accelerate from 0 to 40 km/h in 02.9 seconds and deliver a maximum torque of 192 nM.
“Both models come with a revolutionary Modular Battery Pack offering a certified range of 201 km, a segment-leading 1.5kW On-board charger, and a host of advanced features, setting a new benchmark in the electric motorbike segment,” the business stated in a press release.
Kabira Mobility claims that the KM4000 has had a whole makeover, sporting a sleek and modern appearance. A number of design enhancements and modifications are made to the KM3000 and KM4000 models “to enhance the riding experience, including an innovative Frunk for additional storage”.
Additionally, the KM3000 Mark-II Models have an All-New Projector headlamp that enhances riding at night and increases user safety and awareness.
The electric bikes include bigger disc brakes and Dual CBS for added safety.
Showa’s mono shock rear suspension and telescopic front fork are features of the KM3000 and KM4000 Mark-II models.
The ex-showroom prices of the KM3000 and KM4000 Mark-II versions are 1,74,000 and 1,76,000, respectively.
The bikes are available in two versions: KM3000, KM3000-V, KM4000, and KM4000V. The performance parameters are the same for all four variants. The same riding modes are also included: ECO, CITY, SPORTS, PARKING, and REVERSE. The KM3000 and KM4000 models have a 4.1 kWh battery with a certified range of 178 km, while the other two models have a 5.15 kWh battery pack and a higher range of 201 km. An onboard 1500 w charger is included with each of the four variants.
Every one of them has an IP67 certification. They also have a three-year or thirty thousand kilometre guarantee.
