Includ

Includ, a Gurugram-based online kidswear firm, has raised $1.5 million (approximately INR 12.5 crore) in a seed fundraising round headed by Incubate Fund Asia.

Abhishek Goyal, a co-founder of Tracxn, Escape Velocity, and the IIM Indore Alumni Angel Fund were also involved in the round.

Includ plans to use the new cash to improve its supply chain, develop in-house technology, and increase brand awareness. Additionally, the money will be used for marketing and brand efforts.

Includ is a kidswear company for children aged 0 to 14 years old that claims to offer comfortable and trendy clothing options. It was founded in 2023 by Ashwin Rastogi.

The business intends to double down on technology by vertically integrating with its suppliers, building a solid and efficient supply chain, and focusing on the development of its front-end platform and mobile application.

It claims to have achieved monthly sales of more than INR 2 crore within a year of its launch.

The creator of Includ, Ashwin Rastogi, stated, “We are witnessing rapid growth in demand for in-trend clothing in the affordable premium segment. India’s kidswear market is experiencing a dynamic shift.”

We are pleased to collaborate with Includ as they develop a design-led, high-quality, and affordable brand for the Indian kidswear market. Rastogi’s vision, along with great execution capabilities and global supply chain knowledge, has us very thrilled to support him in building a worldwide brand from India,” said Rajeev Ranka, partner at Incubate Fund Asia.

According to a research, India’s kids apparel market (for children aged 0 to 14) is predicted to reach $24.5 billion by 2028.

Investors have recently shown an interest in India’s children’s wear industry.

For example, this year, online kids’ apparel retailer Hopscotch revealed that its parent business, Hit the Mark, Inc., had raised $20 million in a capital round headed by Amazon.

In the same year, Reliance Retail purchased a 51% share in Ed-a-Mamma, an infant and maternity clothing line launched by actor Alia Bhatt.
