“From October 5 to November 19, Magicpin received over 10 lakh food delivery orders during the World Cup.” The amount of orders exceeded expectations as ONDC‘s demand surged on magicpin’s own buyer app as well as other significant buyer apps such as Paytm, Phonepe’s Pincode, and Ola, according to the business.
The firm had previously indicated that before the start of the World Cup, it will provide discounts of Rs 50-100 crore to cricket fans on food delivery as well as other categories such as dining out, fashion, and groceries, making this occasion a feast for the fans.
