Having a zeal to excel as an entrepreneur, Afif Zaman initiated his first startup, which was a mobile eco-car wash business. The timeline hit about 2022, when Afif’s startup had a business model, where they would visit client’s homes to clean their cars without the use of any water. Upon failing to scale this company, Afif found himself in a lot of debt, which added up to about AED 60,000. Along with his morale being struck with the question of being at all successful, Afif picked himself up. By getting into employment, he found the role of ‘Business Setup Advisor’ to be intriguing for his entrepreneurial senses.
Afif Zaman was born and brought up in the United Arab Emirates. His role of a ‘Business Setup Advisor’ allowed him to collaborate with clients, who aimed to expand their business or career in the UAE. In this job, Afif gave himself to it, where he learned a lot from his experience. Most importantly, Afif Zaman owes his growing skills and business perspective to his Senior Manager, Gaurav Rajyana. Gaurav came as an exceptional mentor to Afif.
Being professional and building on a network of the right people for career-growth became an important note of learning of Afif. When it comes to educational background, Afif Zaman started off with a Bachelors in Architecture degree at Heriot Watt University, Dubai in 2018. But unfortunately, he had to drop out of university due to a compulsory withdrawal letter which was provided to him for non-payment of university fees. In 2021, Afif resumed his studies by enrolling into New BuckinghamShire University and had completed his Bachelors in Business Administration. Over the years, Afif Zaman and the team of Bizhub worked with several esteemed clients.
Some of them include Social Media Influencers like James Webb from Australia to the UAE, Raul Arantes, a UAE Golden Visa holder who is an award-winning Creative Director plying his interests with Google & Nike and Burak Dinc, who is a well-known Chiropractor working with the likes of key football players like Karim Bellarabi. His insightful experience working for these clients from diverse sets of industries helped Afif Zaman to fortify the business model of Bizhub.
As said by experts, “Entrepreneurship is the art of embracing failures”. Afif Zaman has evolved with strengthening Bizhub’s business model. Afif Zaman, along with his partner, Nazumus Sakib, want to build a team of young freshers to bring the best out of them. When we asked Afif Zaman about his take on success, he said, “There is no you without your relationships! Always remember, there is no happiness without your family and friends, and there is no sustainability of income within your country without the trust of your clients.”
