Saad Anwar is a serial entrepreneur, a motivator to visionaries, a self-made millionaire, and an investor who understands the essence of collaboration and trust.
Saad Anwar’s journey started back in 2016 when he passed his higher secondary education, he went for a job interview that same evening. At a time when other students would have celebrated a milestone, Saad was conscious about his duties towards his family, where he had bills to pay and bring food to the table. Saad started his career as a clients’ relation executive at a consulting firm, where he got the opportunity to understand various niches in the industry. His span at the firm lasted for about 5 months as he was let go due to restructuring of the organization.
Experience is the mother of all assets as well put by Saad’s perspective towards life. He joined a startup after this, where he understood the importance of attaining respect in a workplace as he was in dire need there. Saad constantly searched for a mentor, who would guide him towards a well-curated pathway. But he had to build his reputation with his own deed no matter the fact that it took him some more time.
Saad recalls his moments of struggle back in 2017 when he was consistently aiming to set up his business. His creativity and zeal to provide stellar results were often exploited by several. But Saad lets those times be present in his mind as a reminder of all that he has come through. In 2017, Saad also met Mr. Shahzad Latif and Mr. Husnain Akbar, who he calls his trusted peers with aligning objectives towards success.
In spite of limited financial resources, they ventured for a remarkable company named Senyar Arabian Trading Co., Saad and his peers, especially Shahzad Latif, were greatly inspired and initiated their company from 2018. Shahzad held Saad’s hand at times of uncertainty and reassured the feeling of trust and motivation. Shahzad not only became his partner but instilled a sense of brotherhood. A quote by Mike Norton greatly inspires Saad, “Never hold resentments for the person who tells you what you need to hear; count them among your truest, most caring, and valuable friends.”
Founding Senyar, it was a great challenge for Saad to start immediate progress, he took the challenge upon him, looking after the front-end departments like accounts, operations, sales and marketing, while Shahzad handled all back-end issues like providing indispensable advice and consulting based on his expertise and what his belief was towards sustainability and growth of the company. This division offered employment opportunities in the areas of accounts, operations, administration, sales and marketing. Saad Anwar became the operations manager where he steered his role towards management, finance control, planning and development.
In October 2021, the Government of Saudi Arabia eased foreigners to have businesses under their own name in the country and this step turned out to be a massive success for Saad Anwar and his team. Saad Anwar and Shahzad Latif acquired Senyar Arabian Trading Co. in July 2022. Their massive levels of success for Saad allowed him to start an investment company for investing in small and medium-sized businesses, where he also provided his mentorship support for small and medium-sized businesses. There hasn’t been a day that Saad took a day off. And he is so fulfilled by the benchmarks he has achieved so far.
In 2022, Saad with Shahzad expanded internationally with the name European Segment Co. and kept the footsteps in the European market. With Saad, it was difficult for him to find a proper leader and mentor. He faced backlash and betrayal with anyone he expected and hoped to guide. This inspired him to open doors for all who wish to learn about business. Saad wishes to help young people in starting their own business or helping them learn the perks of entrepreneurship.
Saad looks back to the early days of his career and reminisces of how he longed to reach new heights. He had goals that seemed almost like a fantasy at the time. He knew that he would do whatever it takes to make his dreams a reality, and so he did.
Saad is a self-taught entrepreneur, learning about business, accounts, marketing, and how to grow a business. He ignited a flame inside him that propelled him to never give up on his dream, no matter how many times it was the brink of failure, he always found ways to turn the table.
