Officials revealed that Microsoft will provide details and specifics about how the company looks forward to incorporating the latest acquisition Clear Software’s technology into its line-up.
Global tech giant Microsoft has reportedly acquired Clear Software, a company providing integration and BPMS (Business Process Management) products with an emphasis on SAP (System Applications and Products) and Oracle connectivity.
Technology Service Company declared the acquisition of the Clear Software on October 22, 2021; however, the value of the deal is yet to be disclosed.
As reported by ZDNet, Microsoft officials shared that they believe newly purchased Clear Software’s API (Application Programming Interface) access and its back-end systems knowledge will augment the integration between the company’s Power Platform and outside systems of record.
Clear Software provides more than 4,000 pre-delivered automations for SAP, Oracle, more than 500 for EBS, 300+ Salesforce automation, and other business premise as well as cloud applications. The company’s products claim to offer more than 100 pre-built abstractions for SAP and Oracle which can be custom-built for every organization’s need.
Regarding the up-to-date announcement, Partner General Manager of Power Automate, Stephen Siciliano said in a blog post that the company wants to make it easier for customers to integrate various systems when they develop business applications with Microsoft Power Platform.
He added that the integration-based services that Clear Software offers will contribute in delivering a more “seamless” experience to access and use Power Apps and Power automate with the view of creating business applications and automation over more complex systems including SAP and Oracle.

As the company’s recent updates reveal, Microsoft launched ‘Microsoft AI Innovate’ programme in order to empower the AI-leveraging startups in India.
Microsoft disclosed on October 20, 2021, that the initiative is aimed at bringing together all the startups, corporates, governments and venture capital firms in India to build a shared platform for learning as well as innovation.
Microsoft AI Innovate is a 10-week-long programme which would fuel AI-based startups to scale-up their operations, develop innovation-driven products and services, and build expertise in the related industry.
As informed by the company, the programme invites the participation of both B2B and B2C startups from various industries comprising healthcare, financial services, education, manufacturing, agriculture, retail, logistics, space, e-commerce, etc.
The initiative is expected to elevate growth in the Indian startup ecosystem. It will allow startups to expand their customer-reach with tech major Microsoft’s sales and partner networks.
