On his team’s first-ever defeat of the season, Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti expressed his disappointment after being beaten 2-1 by the fresh-comers Sheriff on Tuesday. Failing to lead the scoreboard of the play, the coach admits how the play did not go as planned and turned out badly instead. 

Ancelotti found it hard to explain how his side bit the dust by the finest mistakes. Sheriff Tiraspol defender Gustavo Dulanto shared that winning in the Bernabeu was his dream and how giving neck-and-neck competition to the most successful team in the Champions League serves as a major accomplishment. 

Newcomer’s captain Frank Castaneda shared the confidence his team had to win the game before the actual play. He said, “… and as captain I tried to motivate the team and tell them we could do it because this is football.”

He further said that his side’s opponent is doubtlessly a historic team, however, on the field, it is 11-on-11 players. 

Winner of the game, Sheriff’s Thill said, “The side were so brave with how we played and luckily enough I was able to score a bit of a stunner.”
