NG EarSafe, a pioneer of high-end open-ear headphones, has secured ₹1.06 crore of seed funding from Inflection Point Ventures. The strategic investment will boost brand awareness and market reach and help the company develop new products as NG EarSafe becomes the market leader in the emerging audio market.

NG EarSafe is an innovation from Meet Shah and Raj Shah, as their certified headphones are designed by ENT to ensure maximum ear health without straining the audio. Air conduction and bone conduction technology is used on them. The path of the sound signals has been created through vibrations, with bypassing them to pass through the eardrum. The latest form of innovative research will make sure that ears are safer while listening, due to the alarming rise in hearing issues.
Such products are in huge demand,” said Mitesh Shah, Co-founder of Inflection Point Ventures. “From young children to senior citizens, everyone owns a pair or two of earphones or headphones. This has led to a sharp rise in hearing loss and ear infections. NG EarSafe’s ENT-certified open-ear headphones not only prioritize ear health by eliminating ear pain and damage but also offer premium audio quality at a fair market price.” He added that while the unique certification initially drew their attention, it was the exceptional audio performance that convinced them eventually to invest in the brand.
Market Presence and Sales Trend
NG EarSafe has since sold more than 43,000 headphones and established a strong D2C business on Amazon and Flipkart, among other e-commerce platforms. The brand is now also available in over 100 physical stores across India, including biggie chains like Sangeetha and Phonewale. It operates at an ARR of ₹10 crore. There appears to be ample headroom in this space where there is significant demand for health-driven audio solutions.
Shah, Co-founder and CEO of NG EarSafe, wrote a statement out on the inspiration behind the startup: “The World Health Organization predicts that 1 in 4 people will face hearing problems by 2050. Our goal at NG EarSafe is to encourage a shift towards safer forms of listening, helping to reduce the forecasted hearing damage.”
Acknowledgments and Future Horizons
The NG EarSafe innovations and commitment toward ear health haven’t passed by unnoticed. The startup was a finalist at the Retail Startup Awards in 2022. In 2019, NG EarSafe was first place at Aakar, IIT Bombay. Such awards promote the brand’s cause while also increasing its credibility in such a competitive market.
Financing by Inflection Point Ventures will help NG EarSafe focus significantly more on marketing strategies to spread awareness in ear health and specific advantages of its headphones.
The funding will also enable the acceleration of product development so that there can be amplification of offering products, introduction of new features, and advancement of the user experience.
