BHOPAL: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually launch the Madhya Pradesh government’s Startup Policy and Implementation Plan-2022 on May 13, an official said on Monday. The plan aims to encourage budding entrepreneurs in the state.
The event will take place at the Brilliant Convention Centre in Indore, with MP Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan in attendance, according to a public relations official.
Various programs have been launched across the state to raise awareness about the state’s start-up policy, which has been specially designed to strengthen and bring to life the entrepreneurial ideas of youth, according to the official.
P Narhari, secretary of the Madhya Pradesh Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Department, stated, “The new policy, which is quite different from the old one, will be implemented in tandem with the MP Startup Centre.”
“The startup centre will have a dedicated office, ahead/mentor for each startup, and experts from the relevant field to assist the entrepreneurs,” Narhari explained.
