In a bilateral discussion, US President Joe Biden and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted the considerable cooperation between India and the US in a variety of areas, including high-end computers, artificial intelligence, telecommunications, and higher education.
To promote cooperation between businesses, academic institutions, and governmental bodies, the two countries have formed a joint Indo-US quantum coordinating framework.
The United States and India have also agreed on a new implementation plan for quantum, advanced wireless, and artificial intelligence technology.
Together, they will advance 5G and 6G technologies, including Open Radio Access Network (RAN) platforms, as part of the partnership’s reach into the telecommunications sector. Field tests, rollouts, and large-scale deployments are all included in the collaboration in these areas, which is funded by the US International Development Finance Corporation.
Both nations are making use of their expertise in STEM disciplines as they recognize the value of interpersonal relationships and higher education. Through the Indian Institute of Technology and the Association of American Universities, they hope to create a network of universities. In a variety of disciplines, such as agriculture, energy, and health, this network will promote research collaborations and exchanges. Collaboration in higher education is anticipated to improve teamwork on global issues and spur innovation.
