Different merit lists are created for different programs. The following are the selection requirements for several PGIMER programs.
MLT MSc/MSc
The percentage gained by all applicants who took the PGIMER 2022 test will be used to create a consolidated merit list. Candidates who achieve the minimum cut-off percentage will be eligible for admission/counseling.
Work at Home (OHS)
The merit list will be compiled using the percentile scores earned by all of the applicants who took the exam. Those who achieve the minimum cut-off percentile will be eligible for counseling and admission.
Fellowships and post-doctoral fellowships are available.
Based on the candidates’ performance in this theory exam, a merit list will be created. For each subject and candidate category, separate merit lists will be generated.
Doctoral Program
Candidates who achieve the minimum cut-off marks in both the aptitude exam and the specialty-specific theory test (combined) are eligible for counseling and admission.
General and Sponsored/Deputed category applicants who applied for the MSc program must score at least 50%, while OBC, SC/ST, and PwBD candidates must score at least 45 percent. The minimum percentage requirement for MSc MLT courses is 50%.
Candidates who applied for the House Job (OHS) program must score at least 55 percentile if they are in the General category and 50 percentile if they are in the OBC, PwBD, SC/ST category.
Candidates for the Ph.D. The program must obtain a minimum of 40 points if they are from the General / OBC / Sponsored / FN category, and 36 points if they are from the SC/ST category.
The number of seats available for various programs will be determined by the candidate’s performance in the admission exam. However, for Fellowships and Post-Doctoral Fellowships, the ultimate seat allocation will be based on a personal interview performed by the institute’s Selection Committee.
At the time of counseling, three times the number of available seats will be called. Only after the counseling will the program’s selection be finalized. If a candidate fails to show up for counseling, he or she will not be considered for admission.
