According to reports cited by ANI, Prime Minister Narendra Modi would attend more than 15 bilateral meetings with international leaders during the G20 Summit.

As reported by ANI, “On 8th September, PM will hold bilateral meetings with leaders of Mauritius, Bangladesh and USA. On 9th September, in addition to the G20 meetings, the PM will hold bilateral meetings with the UK, Japan, Germany, and Italy, and on 10th September, the PM will hold a working lunch meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron.”

According to sources, PM Modi will hold bilateral talks with Comoros, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, South Korea, the EU/EC, Brazil, and Nigeria in addition to a pull-aside meeting with Canada.

Pankaj Khimji, the G20 Sherpa to Oman, stated that India is leading the race for digital transformation and is balancing both the developing and wealthy nations on extremely practical concerns of climate and energy transition ahead of the G20 Summit.

He added, “The relationship between India and Oman is only going to get better. We have exchanged a lot of ideas. In the next six months, a lot of new initiatives will come to light. We have been bound together socially and culturally for over 5,000 years and economically for over 2,000 years“.

Dignitaries from all over the world have started to arrive in Delhi to participate in this occasion. Several past senior national leaders will attend the G20 Summit supper in addition to international representatives, lawmakers, and serving cabinet ministers.

According to reports cited by ANI, HD Deve Gowda and former prime minister Manmohan Singh have also been invited to the G20 Summit dinner.

Several well-known officials are scheduled to attend the next event in the nation’s capital, including US President Joe Biden, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida.

Notably, neither Russian President Vladimir Putin nor Chinese President Xi Jinping will attend the weekend conference. However, Russia will be represented by Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, while China will be represented by Premier Li Qiang of China.
