5G technology is determined to transmit better download speed than that of 4G and up to three times greater range efficiency.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will initiate the launch of 5G telephony services in India today i.e. 1 October. According to an official release, 5G will be launched by the Prime Minister in preferred cities on Saturday and it will progressively wrap the entire country over a submissive couple of years.
Prepared to support ultra-high-speed internet, the fifth generation or 5G service is anticipated to declare new economic openings and societal advantages, serving as a transformational force for Indian society.
According to the Ministry of Communications, the launch of 5G services comes after years of serious trial. Recently, 5G spectrum auctions were conducted successfully and 51,236 MHz was administered to Telecom Service Providers with gross revenue of ₹1,50,173 crore.
The auction aggregated the need for a strong 5G ecosystem that can cater to its usage of prosecutions involving IoT, M2M, AI, Edge Computing, Robotics etc.
